I had to post a few pictures of Blake and Aly. Blake is just looking like such a big kid. Of course, I take him to the nursery at church and they say he looks just like Brian. Brian doesn't see it but, Blake looks like his daddy.

GOOD FRIENDS


So my good friends from BPBC got together for one of our last hoorahs for a while. Laura and her family are leaving for Pennsylvania for 3 months for Missionary training school. Then who knows what is going on with us, but it seems we may be leaving sooner than later. So we had a wonderful time together catching up on each other's busy lives. Hopefully this next Christmas we can still all get together for our annual shopping trip. It is wonderful that God brought us all together and we have had some fun times together!!

Lake Tahoe

So Brian and I went to Tahoe for a skiing/ relaxing trip. It was so nice to be together and enjoy some much needed "us" time. We both loved Tahoe. It was cold but yet the sun was shining everyday. If it wasn't so far away from family I think we might consider moving there. I think I read the sun shines 295 days of the year, ok in WA it rains that many days. I think I would really enjoy the sun! But we aren't moving there, at least we don't think God has called us to Tahoe. But it was a great trip except for Brian was puking the day that we went skiing. But he was quite a trooper and we just kept right on skiing. We didn't have a full day of skiing but it was long enough. Then we get a call from Aunt Jen's where the kids were and eventually all 3 kids were puking. It was rough to be so far away from the kids, knowing that Jen had her hands full.
Brian and I even got a couples massage which was a bit strange at first but not too bad.
We have a high school friend, Allie, who lives in Tahoe so we were able to go out to breakfast with her. It was fun to see her and what a good mom she is. It is so strange how we all grow up.
This was a wonderful vacation and we plan to never leave our kids again. This year has been filled with too many vacations without the kids. Now that we aren't working with the high schoolers at our church I think it will be easier to be home more.

Here's to Blogging

Well here goes nothing. I have decided to conform and start blogging. It seems to me blogging is a "myspace" for grown ups. I think this is where my lack of creativity may become evident. But I really enjoy feeling kept up to date with others so I figure I should try myself. I think this might also help me to remember all that is happening in my life.
