Brian's grandma moved to Olympia, which is good in the fact that she will be close and sad in the fact that she will be needing more care. Pray for healing for her, and strength she will be starting chemo soon.

Grammy helped Aly with her lemonade stand. She did great, I think she made around $7. People are so kind they see a little kid and they say oh sure I'll buy your lemonade. All in all it was a fun time for all.

BANGS?????


So I had this bright idea to cut bangs for Aly. I have cut her hair before but bangs are a whole new thing. I did not do so well. I cut them WAYYY too short. I don't know how it happened it just happened. I told Brian to come and not to laugh he did a great job. As soon as Aly was outside I was cracking up. I could not believe I had just cut her bangs way too short. I took her to a beautician friend who fixed them as best as she could being 2 inches too short. Aly loves her bangs which I guess is all that matters but they are taking a while to grow on me. I guess when they are finally long enough I will like them. Hopefully they will grow out before preschool starts in a month.

So my friend Rach and I ran the race for the Homeless. It was fun the kids were cheering us on as we were finishing the race. Aly yelled mom have you won the race yet? I said no but I am about to right up there. We tell her that if you finish the race you are a winner. After the adult run they have a small kids run. Aly and her buddy were so excited that they were going to race as well. They both ran the whole way, it might have been a quarter of a mile but they were troopers.

We of course, saw our friends the Richins and got a few pictures of the kids.






We were able to go to Vancouver for a quick trip to say goodbye to our friends the Evans and the guys play poker. They are going to be missionaries in Mexico but for now they are off to language school for a year. This was the last time all the kids could be together for a long while. It was fun, a bit loud and chaotic with 10 kids but so worth it. Here is our group of girlfriends we have no idea when we will all be together again. It seems God has called most of us to leave the Vancouver area but we have such good memories together.
